Last night, after a pretty lackluster showup for Naxxramas (Maexxna attempts), Method broke up. After about an hour in Naxx, with not much progress, we called the raid, and headed back to Orgrimmar. About an hour after that, the fun began. A couple higher ups in the guild quit, and the waterfall of /gquit’s began…
I for one had seen this coming for a few weeks now. The attitude of the guild members just wasn’t the same. There were certain people, just along for the ride, certain people that just didn’t care, etc. All the tell-tale signs of a guild in turmoil.
As for what I will do with Aeigelus, I am not sure. I am 8/8 Tier 2, 2/8 Tier 3, but truthfully, am a little burnt out on the raiding scene. Korgg is 56, so I think I will end up hanging out with some RL friends, and leveling him to 60. I am thinking about starting up a casual guild for the expansion, and maybe something to run through some simple 20 mans before the expansion. Who knows. All I know, is that my life in WoW will be a lot less scheduled. I will now be able to drive home, and not worry about being on, at exactly 5:30, and can just do whatever I please, whenever I want to logon.
No worries though, Aeigelus and Korgg will definitely be around for a long time. I have NO intentions of quitting the game ![]()

I think you’re making a good move. You may not end up with the best gear in BC, but I think your enjoyment of the game will increase. WoW is supposed to be a game, not another job. I’ve seen far too many raiders get caught up in it to the point where it becomes a secondary job. I suppose some people find that fun, but I enjoy logging on and deciding what I think sounds fun at the time and going to do it. At least that works for me, casual FTW.
